Nevaeh doesn’t demand a whole lot when it comes to toys and technology but here and there she likes to play on child apps on our smartphones and watch her same age cousins play on their tablets so when Vtech Kids contacted me again to try out their InnoTab Max tablet, I gladly accepted.
The InnoTab Max came with the a power cord and wire for charging, stylus pen and little disk with sample preview games to plug in the Tab. When starting the tablet it took a few times to update the Firmware (possibly a glitch) but after a bit of toying with it I was finally able to set the time zone, parental control and hook up our Wifi.
Then I set out to finding some free games for Nevaeh to play and one of those was a Beanstalk game, called My Magic Beanstalk you see her playing, which promotes science, counting and measurement and recommended for kids her age.
There was also different apps already included with the Tablet that Nevaeh enjoyed as well, such as Art, Videos (Bubble Guppies & Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Photos, and more. Nevaeh really liked the turning camera at the top and took a few photos of herself.
There are so many other free and paid games that can be bought per age of the child or based on Educational building blocks for fun and learning, but we will stick with one game at a time. Nevaeh was able to play her game with ease and without help and is eager for every opportunity she gets to play with it.
Have you tried Vtech Kids toys?
