Vacation

This post will be short and sweet as I am still recovering from our trip to Williamsburg, VA and Virginia Beach last week. My little family, along with brother and his family and one of my sisters came along for some of the trip as well. So I thought I would recap with some photos. Thanks goes to Ada, Tiffany and Carrie for guest posting for me last week. (Click on their names to read their posts from this past week).

Our kids enjoyed Virginia Beach, these were by far my favorite photos of the beach and I didn’t take many due to not wanting to leave my DSLR camera out in full view on the beach so I snapped some shots and rushed the camera back to the vehicle.

My hubby and I got dressed up for an unexpected date night and went on an unexpected ghost tour of a “haunted house” on our resort property. We were given ghost instruments to use on our tour. There was some energy and chills at some points

We hit up Jamestown Settlement in Williamsburg and enjoyed our time visiting the settlement and ships.

My sister-in-law didn’t stay but for two days but she left behind a box of 18 firecracker popsicles that the kids enjoyed. (I just LOVE the below photo).

We went on a ferry ride to Surry, VA one day.

There was also some friends of our family that attended the same resort and stayed in the timeshare unit below us. I wish I had gotten photos of our time swimming and late night talks but alas I didn’t.

What I loved about vacation most was the no worrying! I did blog some and reply to some comments but it was nice not to have to stress about much (other than suppling last Tuesdays link up information for Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me), but other than that I enjoyed my family without my phone or computer on much at all.

Thanks for reading today.
