Train a child in the way he should go…

June 22, 2015

This past weekend has been crazy full of fun, sleepless nights (with the kids change in routine over the weekend events with family) and a good refresher of recognizing those men we love the most: our dads, father figures or husbands who serve as dads themselves. Today is a quick post to recognize my dad and husband as I share with you some pictures and a verse that I feel both live up to as God has commanded.

My husband and the kids

My Dad and I on my wedding day

Proverbs 22:6 (NIV)- “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”

I know my dad and husband have both fulfilled or are in the process of still fulfilling this command and I couldn’t be more proud of them for doing so. I love you Chantry and dad. Thank you for training me in the way of serving God dad and for helping me see the value in finding a man who does just the same with our kids. I love you both!

Sorry for the super short post today, but I am beyond tired. I hope you had a good Fathers day weekend!
