Halloween and all things fall are in the air. This past weekend we took the little ones to Layman’s Farm where they had fun with the corn mazes, jumping pillows, cow car rides, petting zoo and more. We didn’t pick a pumpkin at this particular farm, but the kids had fun none-the-less. By the time the farm closed for the evening we were wiped out, as you can imagine.
Speaking of fall and Halloween I wanted to share with you one of my skull scarves that was gifted to me last year from a good blogging friend named Whitney. Now I mentioned it was given to me last year, but up until now I have not known how to style it. Alexander McQueen is famous for putting out fabulous skull scarves, see here and here but you don’t need to go expensive to get your own. Below are affordable priced ones. With Halloween being Monday I thought I would pull it out and give mine a wear and today I am sharing with you two ways to style it. It’s actually as easy as 1..2..3.
Today I am sharing a collaboration with Ada on how we styled with our girls for a summer wedding. It’s been a while since I have been to a wedding and I definitely haven’t been to one with kids. Because of the latter I took up the challenge to find a way to get my girls dressed appropriately for a wedding, including myself, to where we kind of coordinated.
Recently received this beautiful tassel necklace from Lucie’s Locket and when it came in the mail I was instantly stuck on how to best wear it for fall. Tassel necklaces, accessories, shirts, dresses and more were all the rage in the summer but with summer ending I wanted to challenge myself to style tassel into fall. Today I am sharing with you 7 ways I came up with for styling a tassel necklace for fall.
I love to get the most wear out of my tops and adore a piece more when it goes with everything from shorts, pants, leggings, skirts and by itself. Today I am doing just that and sharing with you 3 ways I styled this lovely coral colored Emily Tunic top from Tara Lynn’s Boutique.
As I am typing this my husband and I are sitting at our local Target Starbucks getting our coffee fix on after a tiring day. The kids are at church functions and we are just enjoying some downtime between chatting and some tablet time. You might be wondering why or how that is even romantic but really it has been fun. Sometimes some down time away from home is fun, words or no words with your partner, believe me we have laughed and talked. He wanted to give me some blog time as I almost gave up trying to do this post this week after being so sick. Thank you supportive hubby.
Anyway, here is another installment of Hubby and Wife Style with Chantry ( my hubby) and today we are collaborating again with one of my favorite t-shirt to go shops ONNO tshirts (see our style collaboration from yesterday here).
Welcome to How I Style It. This is a themed monthly blog hop that a few other bloggers and I have put together to show you how we style different outfits for different themes. Today’s theme is how to style florals (for May flowers, since the last theme was April showers). We all know the April Showers Bring May Flowers right? The rain keeps coming too right into May.
Happy Wednesday! This is a link up where a few bloggers and I come together once a month (normally the first Wednesday of the month) to show you how we each styled for a set theme and today our theme is March Madness.
