Hi, Garay Treasures readers! I am Sarah and I blog over at Bows and Clothes. My blog is a life, style, and beauty blog. I like to blog about my outfits, trends, beauty tips, and my faith in Jesus Christ. I like to help people and that is why I started this blog: to help people feel great in their own skin. There is a quote, by me, on my about me page that says, “You are the only you there is, so you better be you.” Through my blog I strive to inspire people. Not because I think that I am perfect, but because God helps me deal with my imperfection. Today, I am showing y’all an outfit that I recreated from Pinterest:
When I saw this pin, I knew that it was the outfit that I should recreate. I love recreating outfits, but I usually don’t. I wanted to get into it, so that is why I recreated this outfit.
I love the jean jacket tied around my waist. I had never worn my denim jacket around my waist before, so it was a bit different. Tying your jackets around your waist is a trend now, but at first, I thought it was just too 90’s for me. After actually trying it out, I love it and would wear my denim jacket tied around my waist again.
Even though this outfit is fairly simple- not a single color; only neutrals- it still works well because of all the different textures, patterns, and elements of shine. The gingham checks of the top and the leopard of the flats are the patterns. The textures include the flannel top and the denim pants and jacket. And the elements of shine consist of the watch, and the sparkly gold ring.
Overall, I really like how this outfit turned out!
What do you think?
