Rusty & Link up

October 6, 2015

Happy Tuesday! I can’t get enough of the fall colors and everything fall lately. For today’s look I choose to bring some fall colors out with this rusty red colored blouse that I had saved in my closet for months. I was thrilled to bring it back out and find ways to style it as I wanted to style around this color. I found that black and gold tones went well with rusty red so I paired it with my first black leggings of this new fall season, black new tote purse, and gold accessories.

I thought adding leopard print flats and a soft knitted beige infinity scarf would help complete the look for Fall weather.

It rained ALL last week, except for some hours on Wednesday so while my hubby and I were out and about getting some errands done with the kids we decided to stop at our church denominations camp ground and let the kiddos play and get some outfit shots.

These swings were a new addition to the camp ground and were quite popular with our kids. In the middle of the circled swings was a fire pit, which was neat.ย This camp ground has a lot of history to it as my husband worked here for years, our Nevaeh went to camp here this past Summer and I was a teacher and helper to many of the youth here years past so it was neat to bring the kids by for a bit apart from church and camp duties.

Do you have a rusty color red item in your wardrobe? How do you wear it?

Come back tomorrow as i show you another Fall color look for the monthly link up “How I Style It”: link up and the theme is Fall colors, so come on by and link up your fall colors.

My fringe vest from this recent Fab 40s blogger collab kind of seems rusty–at least I think so. I love the boho vibe to it. I feel like I should definitely be at a festival or something when I wear it!

Fringe is having such a moment. Do you have any?

Love your leggings and tunic look; great fall outfit! The scarf and leopard shoes are great with it, too! I have been loving fall myself…at least wearing fall-like things and burning fall scented candles! It isn’t *quite* fall weather here yet, but it’s getting there. It will probably surprise me; I’ll just wake up one day and it’ll be cool out. Can’t wait (as I enjoy/prefer cooler weather)!
