A Nutritional Drink that’s Worth Trying

In college I had a friend with bouts of pain and it wasn’t until later she discovered that it was because of issues with gluten as a main ingredient to most of the foods she liked. Fast forward to the time I had children I discovered that one of my children had a hard time keeping his formula or even food down in him so other nutritional options were sought to help him.  For these individuals that need a nutritional alternative I have found a brand new nutritional drink that will be worth the try and that is ProNourishTM.

ProNourishTM is a great nutritional drink to consume in diets, even the low in FODMAP diet. I learned from ProNourishTM that FODMAP stands for Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides and Polyols. Basically what this means is that some people have this carbohydrate but have a hard time breaking it down.

I learned about the FODMAP and this drink online and then ventured to my local Kroger to see if I could find some. Initially I had a hard time finding this drink and a store cashier was helpful in pointing me towards the Diet section of one of the aisles.

I found the ProNourishTM drink wedged in between other nutritional drinks and found that they were on sale as well. I only saw the French Vanilla flavor, but I read that ProNourish also has a Strawberry Banana flavor.

I liked the open boxed case and holes at the top to promote easy transfer with fingers from the shelf to my cart.

From looking at the front and back of the ProNourishTM packaging I could read that the drink contained the following:

• Low in FODMAPs*
• 3 g Fiber
• 15 g High Quality Protein
• 25 Essential Vitamins & Minerals
• Suitable for Lactose Intolerance**
• NO Gluten
• NO High Fructose Corn Syrup
• NO Sugar Alcohols or Artificial Colors

For so many people the above list can be beneficial (not for individuals with Galactosemia). The drink tastes good and makes for the perfect mini meal or snack and is so conveniently small to take in your lunch bag or traveling bag and is perfect for people that are always on the go.

Are you ready to try ProNourishTM or know someone that could benefit from trying it? Then hop on over to get this coupon to save $2 off your ProNourishTM purchase. Let me know which flavor you tried or how you like it.
