“Take care of your shirt and the earth wash cold and hang to dry. Take care of yourself eat good food and make time to rest sometimes” these were the instructions on the tag to washing one of the most comfortable tees I think I have ever had the pleasure of owning.
This tee comes from a brand and line called ONNO t-shirts that produces t-shirts in friendly work places in China with a focus on bringing work to the people as well as customers t-shirts from organic cottons, hemp and bambo fibers. The particular shirt I am wearing is 70% organic bamboo and 30% cotton and is probably the softest material in clothing I have had the pleasure of wearing.
When I first tried on this tee I could tell it was not your Wal-mart and Hanes type of t-shirt, no the quality is just down right amazing and much stronger than any I have had the pleasure of wearing. It even beats the quality of my past maternity tees I swore by from Motherhood Maternity years ago when I was pregnant (gasp!). You need this tee in your life and if you haven’t checked out or heard of ONNO then you can do so here. I will also be styling a hemp made tee for you on the blog tomorrow so come back tomorrow to check that out.
I wore this tee recently on a day that our AC in the house went out for a day in a half. Turned out we needed to have cleaned out our AC unit outside and a part of it went out but our cousin fixed it right up again. While the AC was in preparation of being fixed we were cooking in a house that sat at 80 degrees, heck it was cooler outside so we spent the day outdoors until the AC was checked. This outfit kept me cool while my family and I took the day to take a walk, sit in Starbucks and just enjoy each others company.
Oh and before I forget these sandals in this post are 50% off for $9.98. These were all the rave last summer as well as this summer so snag them up before they are gone again. Who knows if Target will replenish them.
Have you worn clothing with bamboo fibers before?
*ONNO t-shirts provided me with this tee in exchange for a review, however all opinions are 100% my own and not that of ONNO t-shirts. The opportunity was selected from WHATSABLOG blogger/brand partnership.

Now on to the featured five from last week and link up:
Lanae shared a post of different ways to style chambray in 11 different ways using inspiration from actresses and other fashionistas and collages to share her style tips. You can check out these tips here. I know I was inspired by these tips for styling chambray for the fall and year round.
I was inspired by Katie’s story on how this outfit came about or how rather certain items of this wardrobe survived certain almost “disasters.” I just love the pattern mixing too. Read the post here.
While I don’t homeschool like Sarah who linked up this post here, I found the tips useful if I am trying to help one of my children with homework and with three toddlers I felt some of these tips will allow for a smoother and more enriching time for time with my 6 year old when she comes home from school and needs homework time.
Sarah linked up a post on 3 ways to style a graphic tee. This picture above is probably my favorite and I can’t wait to try a graphic tee with a pencil skirt now. See post here for more style tips.
The men in my family and the men in my husbands family LOVE anything peanut butter, so of course I had to PIN and share this recipe that Andrea linked up. While I had a cheesecake very similiar to this Sunday, I can’t wait to try this recipe out and make it for my “men,” just as Andrea had done.
I hope you enjoyed those featured, now on to the link up. Remember to follow the rules below, follow your host and co-host and enjoy being inspired.
