Yay for Wednesday! While we are dealing with being snowed in AGAIN I thought it would be fun to show you some photos pre-snow and not of me for once. My girls steal the show today as far as styling. These sweet cupcakes are styling prints with pink and of course while all of use are mixing prints I thought I would let them do the pink for once.
Nevaeh had a birthday last week and turned the big 7 and since her birthday is right near Valentines day it is ironic that she is wearing heart printed pants with her favorite shoes, although when we purchased these shoes at Target on sale they weren’t her favorite (insert knowing face), but she came along. Am I the only one who parents a child that says they hate something but then loves it? That’s the case with this girl.
Here is a list of things we have to hear:
Her-“But I hate powerpuff girls!”
Me: “You haven’t seen it before”
Her- “But I don’t like it.” Then three days later she can’t keep her eyes off of it.
Same went with these shoes. Yep, that always is the case and some things never change. But how adorable is her new shoes, hearts and pink ruffle in the front cardigan?
Miss Elizabeth is our “pink” child. EVERYTHING has to be pink. She has to read only “pink” colored books, she has pink blankets, a white and purple with pink pillow and she only drinks from a pink sippy cup, eats from a pink bowl and likes pink lemonade. It’s a wonder she isn’t decked out all in pink for you here.
But mama mixed it in and luckily it turned out cuter than expected with polka dots and floral hints on the beanie.
I decided to keep my look more low-key with some added print in the cardigan, but the girls after all steal the show in their pinks.
How particular are your girls? Boys? or both?
