How adorable is this mint colored crochet detail dress from Oakleigh Rose Style Boutique (same here)? I couldn’t help but match this lovely dress with my same matching mint ankle strap heels from Twice and mint beaded bracelet from My Arm Charms. I enhanced the mint with pops of white and gold from the earrings, necklace and purse and I think I created a soft but bold minty masterpiece. I officially hit up a glammed up look that my husband called the best, and he expressed this photo shoot as one of his favorites so far. Woohoo!
If you missed yesterdays post, then you can check it out here as I interviewed my husband on his thoughts on marriage after 5 years. Today, we continue our 5 year anniversary marriage interview with my husband interviewing me. I hope you will enjoy my answers as I had fun and a challenging time answering some of the questions.
1. When did you know we were going to get married?- we talked about it.
2. What is your favorite date we ever had- bike riding in the rain and thunderstorm to the beach from our condo.
3. How would you describe marriage in one word? Fulfilling
4. Advice to newlyweds- trust God in everything even marriage and pray daily.
5. Favorite memory for each of the children:
Nevaeh- singing in the car with Nevaeh when she was 2.
Alexander- the fly act (Xander acted like his hand was a fly to snatch food from Maxes plate).
Elizabeth- when Elizabeth says “aww cute” to everything.
Max- when Max makes sounds that correspond to his surroundings.
6. Favorite gift or surprise- my white Michael Kors purse. The letters we did for the kids before we even had kids.
7. Most meaningful scripture to marriage- no particular one but I do love the story of Ruth and Boaz
8. What couple that has been married for years would you like to be like?- the Bagleys (a couple from church).
9. Best way I have supported you? By my Blog and when I am or was teaching
10. Best thing about being married? Not being lonely, someone to help make decisions
11. Worst thing about being married? Had a hard time thinking of this… Hurting feelings of my hubby when that wasn’t intended.
12. Where do you see us in 10 years? Grey hairs and more date nights
13. What qualities do you see in me that you would recommend in a girl looking for the right man to marry?- the guy has to be cute, have values, love The Lord more than himself, be good with understanding aspects of money
14. What makes you feel loved that I do? Roses, coffee and playing with our kids
15. What gets you turned on- no comment.
I had so much fun shooting these photos with my hubby and we had an awesome 5 year anniversary! Thanks so much for your anniversary wishes!

Jordan shared some tips on different ways to think outside of the box and style kimonos. To check these style tips out go here.
