8 Things I Have Done Recently & Link up

December 20, 2016

I struggled to find a topic to post about today, therefore I was unmotivated to post as life has not conjured anything special lately except holiday fun and festivities. Then I thought why not share just some of the things I have done lately so that you get a glimpse into my life, hence the title “8 Things I have Done Recently.”

What I did:

1). I hosted my first Lularoe party online and got two leggings out of it (posts to come).

2). I did my first Facebook live video in my LipSense group and made a mess haha! Go here to view it.

3). I took three days and literally did nothing but do laundry and fold it. With 6 people in the home and with all the bedding, clothes, towels it can be quite the task to wash and fold.  If I was gone from blogging for a couple of days that is why (half joking here by the way haha).

4). Cleaned out my kids closets and drawers. I sold a few pieces while donating the rest to friends with children.

5). Helped my husband finish a 300 piece puzzle.

6). Hung out with two of my besties for a few nights recently.

7). Started some Christmas shopping (still have more to go, ahhh!).

8). Did last minute Holiday outfit shots with the kiddos Sunday. Pictures to come in this Fridays blogger collaboration post.

I can’t think of anything else presently that I have done but life sure is good and cheerful this time of year!

Aw, thanks for the feature! What a nice surprise! And I am loving your outfit here. The colors look so pretty on you and it looks super comfy! I love reading about what goes in the “real lives” of my blogger friends! We only have a family of 4 and the laundry never ends, so I can only imagine what a family of 6 produces….well, probably about 50% more laundry! Ugh.

By the way, thanks for inviting me to your LulaRoe pop up party. Yours is the one that finally got me to try the leggings! And I really do love them. Linking up my post about them here!

Have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy all those holiday festivities with your loved ones!

  • Jill December 20, 2016 at 7:28 am

I don’t mind doing laundry if someone else would fold it and put it away for me! Yay for girls time and a 300 piece puzzle!

My step mom (the 60’s model on my blog) has been doing jigsaw puzzles lately—they are so addictive!!

  • amy December 20, 2016 at 10:02 am

Amazing look! Love that top and all the colors together. I think I made a bigger mess of FB Live, so much so, I will never try again. I was trying to record a outdoor concert and when I went live the camera was turned towards me and I couldn’t turn it around to save my life. I didn’t want anyone to see me, so then I faced the phone down as I desperately tried to turn the camera around. It was such a disaster…thank goodness I was able to delete it! Never again! I prefer recording so I can look at it before I publish it.

When you’re stuck, you’re stuck. Nothing you can do can unplug that writer’s block so just put everything down and away, that’s what I always say 🙂 but I’m glad you decided to share little sneaks into your day-to-day life, Rachel, it is always so pleasant getting to know the person behind the stylised shots and outfits 🙂 xoxo

300-piece puzzle is no joke! I love completing those, I always feel like it should unlock some epic Indiana Jones temple or something!
