I don’t know what you are going for, but ok & link up

January 26, 2016

“I don’t know what you are going for, but ok” were the famous words of my hubby for this particular outfit. I asked him for his opinion on the layering here and that was just his answer. Then when I asked him if I should unbutton the cardigan or leave buttoned his response again was the latter. I stuck with buttoned up cardigan caked on a chambray top and white tee, with a green scarf as cherry on top the layers.

I told him I was going for a “layer over chambray” look. He replied with an “Ah Ha” like he finally got me.

Sometimes I don’t think he understands me but in other ways I know he does and I love him for it.

Anyway, I have been trying to find ways to style and layer chambray for the cooler weather and this was up my alley, just add some accessories (scarf and matching ring) and I felt the look was much more put together.Β How do you layer chambray for cooler weather?

In what ways does your significant other or family member get or “not get” you?

My husband totally says the same thing like almost verbatim lol…All men are created equal when it comes to critiquing women’s fashion. Chambray is hard to style for winter, I like that you gave it a try. I left mine hanging in the closet waiting for warmer days.

Husbands eh?! I was trying on different things for a blog post last week and I thought a wide brimmed hat might look nice…when I asked my husband he said “The hat might look ok with the right clothes”. Needless to say I took it off! Your green scarf and yellow cardigan really compliment each other, and your lovely ring (looks like malachite?) matches the scarf perfectly!
