Ladies, this is my mom uniform in all it’s glory. I have four kids (all under 7) and I NEED comfortable clothes. I realize there is nothing fancy about this outfit and it is rather plain. Adding accessories to any plain look gives the outfit some pizzazz and makes me (and hopefully you) feel more confident when I go out and about with the four munchkins.
The particular accessories for this look include an “X” statement ring I received from Rocksbox a year ago, and this lovely statement necklace I received courtesy of D.Monaco Designs. This necklace is one of a kind and is actually one of the most intriguing necklaces hanging from my necklace boards. The tassels to the stones in and out are just a marvel and I was sad to see that this particular item was no longer on the website. It is light to wear and the stones in the middle actually move slightly when you touch them as they are supported with wire that is attached to the frame. This is definitely a fun necklace. Oh, and did I mention it has tassels? This makes for the perfect fidget accessory ladies.
With the summer coming to an end I feel like my mood for wearing color has exploded as Fall entails more earthy tones to neutrals and little color. I am soaking it up while I can. With that, this maxi skirt is the perfect example of wearing color while I can before the skirt and colors start retiring for a new season.
What piece of jewelry makes you marvel?
What pieces do you add to your clothes to give an outfit some pizzazz?

I was inspired by how Karen of She Thought She Could and Amy of Amy’s Creative Pursuits both met in real life. See the distance they traveled and the fun adventures they had by clicking on their links above. I would LOVE to meet several of you in real life. Any of you in the Roanoke, Virginia area?
This blue dress on Lee was the perfect inspiration for looking for a good fitting little blue dress for myself.
I am always inspired when a blogger takes an article of clothing and remixes it. This white button down shirt post from Anna shows just that.
