How to dress up a Nicole Dress with Lularoe

I am fortunate to recently get my hands on my first dresses from Lularoe and I am hooked (I am not a consultant, but I know one and she is the sweetest but you will learn more a bit later). I love how the dresses I currently received (Ana dress to be shown tomorrow) shape my figure well without me worrying about my big love handles or hips showing up. I feel confident in these clothes and they feel like excellent quality and are made in the US. SCORE in my book. ย The dress featured today is a red Nicole dress that I am in love with, and it can be dressed up or down with ease. Today I want to dress it up and share a feminine look with you, perfect for swooning your man or for parties, weddings, etc.

nicole-dress-red-Lularoe-black-strappy-heelsThe Nicole dress is a fun stretchy dress that is a cross between a midi dress and pouf dress. It can take you from office to date instantly with the changing of shoes, and other accessories. I want to share a few ideas below on how you can dress this baby up and feel feminine and confident.

1). Dress it up with heels or dorsay flats. A girl can never have enough heels, find a pair that compliments the dress and go for it.

2). Add a shawl or scarf to wear draped on your arms. This is perfect for weddings and church.

3). Statement jewelry. The neckline is just low enough to allow for your favorite statement necklace or pearls.

4). Bring along a small cross body bag or clutch to your dressed up worthy events.

5). Dress up your hair, curl or style your hair into a tight bun or braid.

For my particular look I dressed up my red Nicole with black and gold ankle strap heels, added a gold accented statement necklace and matching earrings and brought along a quilted felt black clutch. Feminine and grace are highlighted in this look and I got lots of compliments when I wore it to church. ย I easily traded my heels for black dorsay style flats after church and wore the dress for the rest of the day with my family.

I have so many other ideas for dressing it up and would like to hear your input on how you would wear your Nicole?

Red is such a pretty color on you, Rachel! Those heels really doll it up and I am sure the dress looked great with the flats you wore after church for a more casual look! I bet this dress would look great with some layers too in the upcoming fall!
