How I Style It: White after Labor Day + Giveaway

Welcome to How I Style It. This is a themed monthly blog hop that a few other bloggers and I have put together to show you how we style different outfits for different themes. Today’s theme is white after Labor Day..just to be rebellious and break fashion rules.

Labor Day weekend was an awesome long weekend. Between family visits and a lot of down time it was also fairly productive with house cleaning, swimming at the lake, a birthday party and Lipstick business stuff. After Labor Day is a different story as a lot of schools start back (ours was 2 weeks ago) and fashion guru’s debate on putting summer items away  to do we wear white. I may be putting my shorts back soon but I will not be giving up on white anytime soon, hence the “White After Labor Day” title and focus for this themed post.

This white tunic top with embroidery detailing is a personal favorite even for the cooler months and I wear it often when I am stuck on what to wear as it is both stylish and comfortable to wear while doing “mommy” or errand running. I kept the tunic laid back this time around by sticking on loose fitting jeans, comfortable flats and with little accessorizing save for some bangles a petite statement necklace and my new wrist watch from JORD wood watches.

I am a HUGE fan of JORD wood watches. I love their choices in wood watches for men and women to their customer service, warranty and more. The watch I am styling for you today was another watch courtesy of JORD wood watches and I must say that this is definitely a unique and beautiful piece. This watch is from the Cora series of wrist watches for women and contains a rich Koa wood and rose gold tones on the front and swarovski crystal time markers inside. When I look on the back plate of the watch I am surprised to notice that I can see glass and the mechanical pieces inside the watch versus a Koa wood plate which is neat. When I sent off for my watch I must have measured wrong because the watch is pretty snug on my right wrist but somehow a bit looser on my left wrist. Luckily, JORD came with extender links if the watch becomes an issue in the future. The watch goes well with the casual day to day wear but would compliment a dressier look as well.

JORD wood watches is also doing a giveaway for a $100 coupon to one winner and all other participants will receive a $20 e-gift card towards purchases. To enter to win the $100 coupon (even if just the $20 gift card) just enter here. Ends in 3 weeks so what are you waiting for?

Are you wearing white after Labor Day and how?

Have you tried JORD wood watches? What would you buy if you won?
