“How I Style It” link up is back and in a new year. This is a link up where a few bloggers and I come together once a month (normally the first Wednesday of the month) to show you how we each styled for a set theme and today our theme is snow boots.
Believe it or not these boots are thrifted UGGS that I got from my mom and wore on Christmas day. I have seen online how suede leather UGGS are not the best for snow days, however we haven’t seen snow yet and they are very comfortable, and cute. SO I am going with these being snow boots for now (wink).
On snow days it is appropriate to wear a coat (of course) so I borrowed from one of my sisters this lovely black Michael Kors leather coat. I say borrowed because Christmas day was actually warm (in the 60’s) so I didn’t bring a coat, but the coat served it’s purpose for the cooler evening. Michael Kors also happens to be my favorite designer as well, so I couldn’t pass up wearing it outside with my sisters and the kids.
I love the edginess a leather coat or jacket brings and this one didn’t disappoint and I like the texture of it against the suede leather of my boots, making the two leathers a perfect combination.

*My outfit for today was actually photographed by one of my sisters on Christmas day, and the autofocus lens on my camera was busted so my sister worked the best she could with manually shooting, so I am sorry for the poorer quality, and it was getting darker outside.
Now for the Snow Boot linkup party. Link up a recent post of yours, ONLY one that goes along with our theme (Snow Boots). Please limit yourself to three links featuring snow boots and remember to link directly to the post, not your blog. Be sure to hop around some of the other posts that have been linked up and spread the love in the blog world! This link party will go live Wednesday, December 2, 2015 and be live for a week. Feel free to add our “How I Style It” button to put on your post or on the sidebar of your blog.
