High Five for Friday

May 15, 2015

Today would have been the last of the Budget Babes series with Ada and Maria but that will be postponed till next Friday since Ada’s daughter sweet Miss Vivian has been very sick so prayers for Ada and Vivian would be awesome. I have four babies and when one isn’t feeling well to the point of hospitalization or several doctors appointments it just breaks my heart. Hope you feel better Vivian! Ada you are an awesome mommy to be with her through this. Because Budget Babes will be put off till next Friday I wanted to do participate in High Five For Friday with a few of my blogging buddies. While it is hard to keep it to five things here they are:
Last Friday, Nevaeh’s class had a “Muffins with Mom” breakfast to celebrate mothers day. It was definitely special as the students had to serve muffins and orange juice (or water) to their parents and perform a song. Nevaehs teacher made a special video of a message from each child to their mom afterwards. It was definitely an “aww” to everything event and I just loved getting the time away from the babies (hubby had baby sitting duties) to be with Nevaeh.

Our kids participate in a toddler music class each week and so this was where we held their Birthday party this past Saturday. Gigi (the puppet giraffe) along with her cousin Jojo (another puppet) are always the stars of the show.  Gigi gave our three babies some small birthday presents (monkeys). *Excuse the blurry pictures, I don’t know why they didn’t turn out well.

I had a lovely mothers day surprise (read this post here for details-my hubby did good).

Mothers day with my girls, mom and sisters was lovely.

Finally my second Rocksbox set came in. Read here to see what I kept from this set. You can get a 1 month free Rocksbox set with the code garaytreasuresxoxo (normally a $19 a month service with no obligation to continue after one month).

Thanks for coming by today.

I just sent Ada a message, I was worried about her blogging absence and knew Vivi had not been feeling well, but didn’t know she was in the hospital! Poor girl and I hope Ada is getting some rest. Now fun when stuff like that happens. Thanks for the Friday High Five, I am really wanting to get another Rocks Box!!

It looks and sounds like Mother’s Day was lovely for you. I love the idea of a muffin morning at school with the children. We don’t do anything like this over here 🙂

What a great High Five post. Thanks so much for starting this post by mentioning my sweet little Vivian and all of your prayers. You are a great person, a fantastic mom and a great friend. I only found out you did this because Carrie sent me an e-mail. I didn’t read your blog until yesterday and saw this, myself. =)
