High Five for Friday- November 13,2015

November 13, 2015

Happy Friday! Wow has the week flown by (in my opinion). Today I am back for another High Five for Friday post where I share five things that have gone on lately, so let’s jump in.

This past Saturday I was walking the four kids into Walmart, in a downpour of rain and a lady came up to me and said “You are brave for getting out in the rain, here buy your babies something and God Bless” then she handed me a Walmart gift card. She walked off and the whole time I was shopping I tried to hold back tears, that truly made my day. We will definitely use it for a few more presents for our kiddos.

Yesterday my hubby gave me a couple of hours to myself, which was much needed. I went to my local library and came up with this post as well as answer some comments or e-mails.

My husband was honored for veterans day this past Sunday along with other veterans in our congregation. I am so proud of him.

I didn’t get photos on Wednesday, but because it was Veterans day many restaurants offered free meals or discounts to Veterans and their families. My husband got a free meal at Denny’s so we got breakfast there, followed by a free tall cup of hot coffee for the veteran and spouse at Starbucks and then later that evening we visited Golden Corrall buffet restaurant. By the end of the day we were pooped, but bellies full.

I have been visiting Target a lot lately with the kids (they love the popcorn and looking at toys). I bought these tumblers for my husband and I since we needed more from the $3 bin and we picked up a few other items (detailed post coming in a few weeks).

That’s a wrap!

How was your week? What did you do?
