High Five for Friday 9/18

September 18, 2015

Happy Friday everyone, I hope your week has been a great one. I am just sharing a few highlights of my week as part of the High Five for Friday link up so here we go:

My hubby let me have an afternoon (while babies napped) to go out and do grocery shopping alone and sit in Starbucks. One of the many perks of having a gold card is all the free refills so I paid for a tall ice coffee and just sat for half an hour browsing articles on Pinterest while enjoying a few cups of iced coffee, courtesy of the gold card. It was VERY nice and a nice break away from home.

So it’s a little hard to see who I am watching, but this is a live simulcast of  Beth Moore, preaching and sharing how to live a life with audocity in a world that is lost. Worship was led by Travis Cottrell, and just wow what an amazing worship service and time of watching and feeling refreshed in God’s word and truth.

My girlfriends were with me for this day and Beth Moore event so while we weren’t attended the live event  we enjoyed a few hours in a local coffee shop just pouring into each other, crying, laughing and just feeling blessed to be there for each other as we each have all felt the need to get away and talk about lifes issues and blessings. I was relieved we could all meet and fellowship.

Sunday we welcomed my new niece into the world, Miss Isabelle. Elizabeth couldn’t get enough of her new cousin. Congrats Jasmine and Shane. (Teehee Elizabeth is like her mommy and can’t leave the house without jewelry :).

Overall this week has been pretty nice. I have actually been doing a lot of evaluating in my life as a blogger and mommy and I think it is about time I start to plan out a few different course for this blog, but I just don’t know what yet. I love fashion, faith and mommy hood but sometimes I realize I need to be myself and I need to be ok with that and share that more often as lately I feel this space has been dry or fake with hints of honesty. I don’t know what will transpire but we shall see.

Hope you have a good weekend, be safe and have fun.

Rachel xo

I need to see what you do to get this gold card at Starbucks or I just need to sign up for their rewards program. I haven’t yet and I don’t know why I haven’t. Your husband is so sweet to you!

I love Beth Moore! I forgot all about the simulcast until it was too late. Such is life. But she is such an encouragement and a great speaker! And Travis Cottrell is amazing. What fun to share that with friends. Yahoo! Hope you all are having a great weekend!

Yay for free refills and some you time! Beth Moore came to the local community center back home last week, but I wasn’t home for the event. I think it would’ve been fun. Congrats on the new niece!! And prayers for you as you determine your blogging course. I use my H54F posts to try to really connect/be honest, and I like having that outlet. BTW, the next H54F hangout is this Thursday!!!
