High Five for Friday 8/21

August 21, 2015

Happy Friday! Today I am highlighting a few things that have been happening lately as part of High Five for Friday, so here we go, 5 things from this week:

1).All of my kids have their own bunk beds now and this set came passed down from my husbands grandmother who used it with his mom when she was younger. Our six year old, Nevaeh loves sleeping on the top bunk (don’t worry there is a rail attached to the ladder), but sleep training Elizabeth on the bottom has been no picnic and then sleep training the two boys hasn’t been fun either but hopefully things will get better.

2).Thursday night I combined nacho cheese, some mild hot sauce and some refried beans as a dip for the tortilla chips that they kids enjoyed.

3). Nevaeh will start 1st grade and so we attended her back to school night Thursday night to meet her teacher and see where her classroom was.

4). I have been journaling my prayer requests, and praying more which has been opening doors to receiving God’s peace and knowing He will provide and take care of me.

5). Today I am guest posting on Ada of eleganceandmommyhood.blogspot.com so I hope you will check out my special post on fashion with my daughters. See post here. I also guest posted for Tiffany on “How to Style Polka Dot shorts” see post here.

What highlights were there in your week? I hope you have a good weekend!

Wow what a busy week! There’s always something happening when you have so many kids, hm? πŸ™‚ Love how happy they look in their bunk bed! I enjoyed sleeping in the upper bunk too when I was a child, it’s just so cool being so high up! πŸ™‚

I’ve just published a new post about a disappointing cooperation with a sponsor called Dresslink.
I don’t recommend them as a sponsor to anyone!
Please come and have a read so you know why.
