High Five for Friday 6/26

June 26, 2015

FRI-YAY! I hope you all had a good week and enjoyed your first dose of official summer season weather. We did some of the following:
1). My husbands raspberry and black berry bushes have been in full bloom and given some lovely berries for us to eat.

2). We took a mixture of store bought raspberries, and our own backyard crop and made these lovely little pies:

On Wednesday my hubby gave me several hours of me time, so I choose to go to Target and get an ice coffee and just browse and then I went to Old Navy during their up to 60% off sale and got a few needed items with some Birthday money of mine (items I choose to come next week). I ENJOYED me time for sure!

4). My kids received free ice cream coupons for Chick-fil-a months back and we finally put them to use. I got a lemonade and free Chocolate chip cookie (wish a coupon). The staff at our local Chic-fil-a are always so sweet and they even let Xander and Nevaeh back into the kitchen to serve their own ice cream haha! They had a blast playing afterward and had several refills of my lemonade.

5). I received my first set of Jamberry nails from Becky (who is a consultant) and will do a reveal of the results on the 6th of July as well as host an online Jamberry nail party for a week. More details coming!

Wow can you believe next Wednesday is July 1st? Me neither! Come back on Wednesday for a special monthly link up with myself and five other bloggers for our monthly themed “How I Styled It” link up. This coming Wednesdays theme is patriotic or #patrioticpretties. We hope to see how you styled your red, white and blue outfits. Don’t have a blog? You can hashtag on Instagram #patrioticpretties for us to view your patriotic look to celebrate 4th of July next Saturday!

Those little pies look SO good! We are starting to get some blueberries, strawberries and cherry tomatoes from my pots on the patio! Chick-Fil-A is the best, aren’t they? Your hubby always so good about giving you me time!

Who’s guilty of falling behind in blog reading? Yep, this girl right here. Crazy how sometimes life just takes over. Anyways, catching up now and love reading everything you’ve been up to. I can’t wait to see your finds from Old Navy, as I was just there yesterday to pick up a few items myself.
I would also love to participate in the #patrioticpretties thang you have going on, because all this week and next, I am sharing my own 4th of July looks on my blog, so be sure to stop by and have a look! (I’ll also be hashtagging on IG, don’t you worry!).
    Have a wonderful weekend!
