Fashion show for the Truck drivers+ Pink Blush look 2

With the time change and the day getting darker earlier it is SO hard to get any photos done with my hubby (the photographer) as his sleep schedule and new job don’t allow a lot of daylight time so we have to stay fairly near the house to get any decent shots. So we used this abandoned photography studio for the shots in todays and yesterdays photo shoots to do photos.

In the process of photo shooting both outfits I realized there were two truck drivers parked in the empty lot staring at my husband and I. It was awkward as you can imagine, I like to think I gave them a show. I have been through these situations before from trespassing on a farm for photo shoots and getting caught to taking photos in the middle of town with cars and people about. Oh the things I do as a fashion blogger.

If you missed yesterdays post about my new trench coat from Shop Pink Blush Boutique, then you know by now that I have fallen in love with this womens online boutique. This Trendy Boutique online offers cute dresses for women, hats, socks, leggings, boots and more. Pink Blush was kind enough to send me the gorgeous and comfortable sweater cardigan you see me showing off for the truck drivers…I mean you.

I have several cardigan sweaters but this one from Shop Pink Blush tops them all. It is just the right size, feels like a blanket and is very versatile with its colors and pattern. I wanted to go for a casual comfy look so I added the beanie my husbands grandmother made for me a few Christmas’s ago and felt warm and ready for the cold. I added some white flats but could have added boots, or even converses (if I had some). My point is, the versatility of this cardigan could allow for all kinds of possibilities for styling.

I was very giddy and sassy for these photos. Something about having a truck driver audience made me feel both silly and confident, and that is what I hope I convey in these photos.

Photos are so much harder in the winter! I always hate it when I find a good spot only to have someone drive up. Great sweater!

Haha – so funny! It is awkward when to do photo shoots when other people are watching. I tend to handle this much better when Brian is being photographer, versus being alone with my tripod. Very nice cardigan, Rachel! It looks so cozy and has a great pattern and colors.

Such a cute story. I don’t have a photographer or a tripod so I shoot my own pictures by my porch or in the front yard. I am not as brave as you. I bet the truck drivers hadn’t seen someone this stylish in a long while. Your new cardigan and the black beanie are gorgeous.

You are sassy in these photos! Lol! I was laughing when I read the title and had to read what you were talking about. Too funny! That cardigan looks so, so comfy and I love that it is long enough to wear with leggings. I am sure you and your husband will be laughing about this for awhile. 🙂

OH this is perfect!!!!! I hate knowing people are watching me do pics as well – so awkward! I finally really have ditched any kind of photography help from friends in trade of a tripod and remote, it’s worked out good as I don’t have to rely on other’s schedules!
