Easter best

April 7, 2015

Happy Tuesday and welcome back to my blog. I am honored and so thankful for the 20 + comments I received yesterday of everyone welcoming me to this new blog space so thank you, thank you, thank you! I am getting back to your comments as fast as I can. If you don’t want to miss a post update then please subscribe to my newsletter or other social medias in the sidebar buttons.

For the title of this post, it is quite obvious that this is what I wore on Easter Sunday to church and to my parents luncheon. I gave up on finding the perfect Easter dress this year and just went with black pants, black heels and a new blouse I got from JC Penny and I am glad I did. At first I thought it would be a hot and humid day for wearing some black but it wasn’t too bad and the pop of color from the shirt and gold metals was an extra bonus for why this outfit should have been worn.

This past weekend was VERY busy between a blog switch happening and then Easter activities going on left and right but I survived and enjoyed the time with family and church members. While Easter was filled with so many events and activities and family outings it was hard to remember what Easter was really about and so that is why I am so thankful for church service on Sunday as my pastors sermon just filled my heart and mind with God’s true love and forgiveness for US ALL through sending His only son for our sins. He paid the penalty but through this we are forgiven, and we just have to accept that and accept Christ for WHO HE IS and WHAT HE HAD DONE!

I was so encouraged recently that through this blog I have met many followers or even collaborators that told me they don’t know God or have fallen away from God and to have them continue to come back and follow my blog is amazing. Just their honesty in admitting that is awesome- I love you guys! God loves you guys too, more than you probably know or can comprehend. I just feel I need to give a shout out to you because you are so special. I also want to give a shout out to my believing followers or friends because through many hardships of this blog or in my personal life your prayers and encouragement have been an answered prayer and you just amaze me as you have taken sometime to e-mail me or direct message me to share your thoughts, prayers or past. So thank you!

Happy Late Easter from my family to yours! Thanks for coming by and reading today.

I really had a hard time deciding what to wear this Easter, but I didn’t have many pics taken of me… so, thats ok! I was trying to figure out what to wear before we rushed out the door for church. I had my kids outfits planned out weeks ago 🙂 Your top is beautiful and perfect for Easter. I too felt so rushed this Easter that I didn’t feel like I reflected on the true meaning, plus I wasn’t feeling my best… so, I didn’t get as much out of church as I would have liked. I’m trying to cut myself some slack, because there is always next year! And, he is always here for us!
