Coffee Break & link up

April 26, 2016

Coffee breaks are one of my favorite parts of my day. In fact, where would I be without coffee? It’s one of the things I look forward to each day, its all over my blog and even included in just about any “About Me” section you can find. As much as I love my coffee as I have gotten older I have found I drank more and still feel tired, but you guys I have found a new brew that REALLY does the trick for me in that one or maybe two cups makes me feel more alert and is strong enough that I don’t need another one back to back.

My new brew:

Shuffle Bean. This medium roast is filled with a heavy body, high acidity and has no aftertaste and is rather sweet too. You can find out more about their growing and environment friendly communities of coffee growers here.

I am not the only one who enjoys my new favorite brew. The hubs begged for a second cup his first evening trying it out and that was at 10 pm. I have no idea how he slept that night, but regardless he is hooked as well.

Speaking of being hooked, you will too. I dare you to give Shuffle Bean a try. You can get your Shuffle Bean in ground and whole bean 12 oz coffee bags (like you see pictured in ground), and Keurig compatible cups.

Which one will you dare to try? Tell me what you think?

*Shuffle Bean sent me the products contained in this post in exchange for a review. All opinions are 100% my own and not that of Shuffle Bean. Now enjoy yourself and cup of Shuffle Bean Joe.

I love the smell of coffee but my body can’t take it. It makes me so jittery. So I will just stick to eating coffee ice cream 🙂

Nothing like a good cup of coffee especially in a cute pair of leopard shorts. You’re a doll!!

  • Carrie @ Curly Crafty Mom April 26, 2016 at 6:42 am

You wouldn’t believe this, but I don’t even have a coffee machine in my house! I really need to change that. This coffee looks really good! I would probably save if I made it at home, although I try to limit my Starbucks coffee to once a week. 😉 That black jacket looks great with those leopard shorts.

  • Jill April 26, 2016 at 6:44 am

I drink more coffee in the summer because I like it iced. I’ll have to check this brand out! Your leopard shorts are adorable!

  • Ashley April 26, 2016 at 10:00 am

Coffee breaks are my absolute favorite part of the day — I’d embarrass myself if I admitted just HOW much coffee I need to function each day. Wish I had a lovely back porch to sip mine on like you do! That’s the one downside to living in the city — there’s not nature to relax in!

Oooh thank you Rachel, for featuring my styling modern classics of tweed and pearls post! What a lovely surprise.
Coffee is the one drink I really hate – yuk! I’ve never been able to develop a taste for it. Now tea, on the other hand I could drink all day. No surprise as I’m a Brit!

  • Rania April 26, 2016 at 10:28 pm

I love coffee too!! I also look forward to the morning to have that first yummy sip, and in the afternoon, it’s my “dessert.” I’ve lately been all over the K cups since we have the machine at work and has become so convenient to make it. The Shuffle Bean beans definitely sounds worth trying.

  • Christie April 26, 2016 at 10:29 pm

Me and coffee have a love-love relationship, too!! I love my Starbucks, especially! Can’t get enough of that stuff. Love your sandals, too! I love the little pop of glitter.

I miss having coffee. 🙁 I actually go to Baguio (considered as the Summer Capital of the Philippines) and buy my coffee beans there. That’s where I also get my civet coffee beans (the beans digest by civet cats) whenever I feel like being a bit luxurious with my coffee.

Lately I’ve been having tea instead since I still can’t find the time to buy my beans. It’s actually a 6-hour drive going to Baguio from my place. That’s why. xD

  • Lanae Bond April 28, 2016 at 9:02 am

I am not a coffee drinker by I can see why people would love it, because it gives them an energy boost!

  • Emma Peach April 28, 2016 at 12:07 pm

A decent coffee is one of the highlights of my day too, although if I have too much it does make me a bit jittery. Love your leopard print shorts!

Java aside, look at you go, Rachel, in those sassy shorts and red top. I love the air of fun and confidence that your recent photos (these included) are exuding, so empowering 🙂 now to matters of mocha. I’m relatively new to the pursuits of coffee, having only been coerced into it by my husband a year ago. Being from South Italy, to him, there’s only one brew worth drinking, Lavazza Qualita Oro, but for me, I like my coffee to taste more of something else, and less of coffee, if that makes sense. So I love my Godiva blends and my Fresh Market blends. Anything which tastes like my fave desserts with a hint of coffee GRIN
