YAY! for Friday and another day to show you how Ada, Maria and I style for under $75 (hence Budget Babes). Every Friday for four more weeks we will be styling outfits with a theme that goes along with the trends of spring but we are going to show you how you don’t have to break the bank doing so. Today’s theme is styling slip-on loafers. If you missed last Fridays pastel themed then you can check it out here. *By the way my pastel look was featured on Dawns Fun Fashion Friday link-up, you can check it out here along with several other featured bloggers. Thanks Dawn.
I love how all three of us stayed casual with Ada using floral printed loafers that almost match her skirt to a tee and Maria using all black almost TOMS looking loafers to dress down a lovely dress. Check out their blogs here and here to see how they styled their loafers.
I styled my outfit with red nautical boat loafers with a basic colorful striped tee and jeans with minimal jewelry as I wore this to a Birthday party bowling for my nephew and to run errands in.
I got these loafers recently at Marshall’s and while I love them I believe they kill my feet without the proper socks to wear with them but they are just too darn cute. I actually got these loafers not because I loved them weeks before I bought them but I had this particular Budget Babe theme in mind and so I was glad when Ada and Maria decided to keep the theme of loafers.
I kept the jewelry to a minimum but had to style my long turtle necklace to play on the colors of the shirt with the matching gem colors on the turtle and of course wear my new “buckle up” bracelet from My Arm Charms. This bracelet is very cute and while I have styled it very casually as of late I can’t wait to try dressing it up some soon. The bracelet buckles on the arm like that of a buckle on a pants belt. This was the first day wearing it and I may have made it a tad bit tight as the place it laid for awhile felt a tad bit sore at the end of the day but I barely notice(d) it. The yellows in the shirt and bracelet was too good to put together.
Now a price breakdown of this outfit for you.WARNING this one is definitely a kicker and well worth it.

Shirt- Early birthday gift from my mom but Old Navy Brand $0 (similar here)
Pants- Clothing Exchange with friend but St. Johns Bay brand $0 (similar here)
