Bloggers Link Up + Blogger Style collaboration featuring Cushie b

April 28, 2015

Hey there everyone, welcome to another “Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me” link up. My first “Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me” link up for the new blog was last Tuesday and I had 38 link ups, whoa! so thank you for posting and if you missed it you can refer back to it here. I choose my favorite five to feature today and I will choose another five to feature next Tuesday as well. With so many people linking up I actually prayed about taking on guest co-hosts and so far I am glad I went with this decision as 38 or more is quite a lot to keep up with but I am doing it anyway because I love you all.

Today’s link up is special because not only do I get to feature you and read your posts but because I can’t wait to introduce you to this weeks guest co-host Teresa (of Mama muse me blog) as well as show you how we collaborated and worked together to style items we selected and had sent to us in collaboration with a company called Cushie b.

Cushie b is an online boutique serving high end clothing to women with a plus size or fuller figure. For years now I have fit into this category so when Teresa introduced me to this company I was excited to check them out. Lucky for Teresa and I we were sent some items that we selected in collaboration with Cushie b to show you and just show you how stylish plus sized and curvy women can be and with clothing we can flaunt comfortably and confidently. I was VERY impressed with the customer service, lovely wrapping tissue and the handwritten postcards I received letting me know they were there if I needed anything. How thoughtful!

The item I choose was this Periwinkle blue cozy blanket cardigan. It has been since I was 19 that I owned anything in periwinkle but when I glance at this lovely cardigan it almost looks purple in certain lighting which is pretty neat. My first reaction to this cardigan was just how versatile it is. I can wear it with leggings and flats to distressed pants and sneakers and the list goes on. I love how comfortable it is and cozy.

This cardigan is actually on sale now and Cushie b wanted me to let you know that if you are a first time shopper you can receive 15% just for signing up for the cushie b newsletter. Girls you better take advantage of that because these items are one of kind (like this blanket cardigan I am loving). {outfit details- Cardigan: Periwinkle blue cozy blanket cardigan c/o Cushie b//Leggings:Old Navy (same)//Shirt:JC Penny (similar)//Flats:Merona via Target, old (similar)//Bracelets: The Sparkle Exchange (same in purple here).

See how Teresa styled her Cushie b silk kimono here.

*Cushie b provided the cardigan in exchange for a review, however all opinions are 100% mine.

I love that periwinkle color, and it’s such a cozy cute sweater. I think the only thing I have in periwinkle is a nail polish, and I always have fun wearing that. I now find myself wanting more in that color :). Thank you so much for featuring me!! I’m glad you liked my outfit :). I loved seeing your other picks too.
