Target wear with Brandzaffair Part 2 & Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me link up

June 30, 2015

If you read yesterdays post (here) then you may have discovered that I choose three items from Target in collaboration with Brandzaffair and today am modeling for you the other item I received from Target. My first crop top, along with the wedged sandals I received from Target as well.

Before I go into full outfit details here is a little bit about Brandzaffair. Brandzaffair’s mission and whole site is based around the “Ultimate Online Shopping Experience” meaning they include šall of your favorite store links (stores like Nordstrom, Old Navy, Express, J.Crew, Banana Republic, Lilly Pullitzer, Target and more) on one page and allow you to shop with just a click to each logo for the desired brand. The site was easy to navigate but when Brandzaffair allowed me to pick out an item(s) I had a hard time choosing. I finally narrowed down my wants to three pieces and today I am styling two of the pieces today and I styled another item I got in yesterdays post here.  I found it easy to just click on the logos and shop and even explore the newest deals that Brandzaffair provided on their site.
Brandzaffair will even donate 2.5% of the net profit to a customers desired charity once a purchase is made with the listed logos on their site to charities here.

I just love the flare and comfortableness of this crop top I choose from Brandzaffairs page of stores, mine coming from Target as mentioned above. I choose a plus sized top but could have gone lower in size but with online shopping there comes the unknown sometimes but the fit is actually nice on this top regardless if it is a bit bigger.

IMG_2239

You may not know this but I love the color blue to wear so I am happy with the little details of blue in the top and so I paired it with blue and gold accented jewelry and my new blue shorts from Old Navy. These shorts have cute tassel drawstrings that you can barely see but these shorts are a medium since Old Navy large sizes are a bit big on me.

IMG_2243

I added my new wedges from Target courtesy of Brandzaffair and just love them. I sized up to a 8 when I ordered these summer bad boys because while I am a size 7, somehow Target’s shoes sizes don’t match up real well and 8’s always fit me better.

Shannon looks absolutely lovely in her maxi dresses and while I am not much of a boho style person I do appreciate it and especially on Shannon ALL the time. This lovely dress is just a dose of the lively, boho style Shannon wears on her blog so I hope you will check out this look more and her blog here.

Yana posts a very cute post all about ridiculous trends that I found amusing, one being the dainty little clutch purses (even though she styles one here) but I love her response to my comment on these annoying but cute purses, Yana: “This bag is like a bad boyfriend, you know he kinda ruins everything for you, but he’s so cute haha.” AMEN yana haha! Check out her complaints here and check out her lovely style while you are at it.

I love Alena’s new take on wearing a kimono over a maxi dress, how simple is this yet a whole new way to wear a kimono to get the most out of one too. I am definitely trying this. Check out her post here.

Carrie posted three recipes to some delicious looking infused water drinks that I cannot wait to try. Perfect for this 90-100 degree heat we have been having. See the recipes here.

Target wear with Brandzaffair Part 1

June 29, 2015

Happy Monday dolls! I hope you had a good one. Mine was eh, rain and hubby working didn’t help but I did adore my newest items from Target in collaboration with Brandazaffair. Before I dive in to what I choose let me tell you about Brandzaffair and what they are doing to give back to the world.
Brandzaffair’s mission and whole site is based around the “Ultimate Online Shopping Experience” meaning they include all of your favorite store links (stores like Nordstrom, Old Navy, Express, J.Crew, Banana Republic, Lilly Pullitzer, Target and more) on one page and allow you to shop with just a click to each logo for the desired brand. The site was easy to navigate but when Brandzaffair allowed me to pick out an item(s) I had a hard time choosing. I finally narrowed down my wants to three pieces and today I am styling two of the pieces and will style another item in tomorrows post. I found it easy to just click on the logos and shop and even explore the newest deals that Brandzaffair provided on their site.
Brandzaffair will even donate 2.5% of the net profit to a customers desired charity once a purchase is made with the listed logos on their site to charities here. These are quite amazing! So without further adieu check out todays lovely dressed up casual outfit.

I am obsessed with this tee and these wedges that I selected from the Target site from Brandzaffair.
IMG_2226
The geometric faded print on this tee is quite fun and I love how versatile it is. I have already styled it with denim pants, black tweed skirt and black workout culottes, I just love it.

IMG_2222
I had always wanted a newer pair of wedged sandals for the summer and so I was glad to have found these here. I actually wear a size 7 in shoes, but somehow Target has weird sizing so I knew I needed to choose a bigger size as 7’s at Target tend to normally be too small for some reason so I went with 8 and they fit perfectly. I love the imitation cork print on the wedged part, the straps are oh so comfortable.

IMG_2227

I got these chambray shorts at Old Navy on sale for $10 with their up to 60% off sale this past week. They are a size medium actually because of the elastic at the waist line (I always score in the lower sizing with Old Navy as their large and extra larges look too big on me) but be ready to see more of these shorts on the blog as they are super cute and comfortable.

IMG_2230I accessorized with my birthday arm charm from My Arm Charms. This cute bracelet is called Retro for the black, yellow and orange stones surrounding the elastic band and I got it with a special Birthday gift coupon from My Arm Charms (subscribe to My Arm Charms mailing list for special sales and discounts and use code GARAY to get 20% your subtotal of $15 or more at My Arm Charms).  I paired the bracelet with my tasseled necklace for an extra touch.

I had fun styling these wedges and this tee, look for more of these on the blog coming in the near future. Also come back tomorrow to see what I else I am styling from Target in collaboration with Brandzaffair.

*Stop on by Carrie of curlycraftymom.com as I am guest posting over there at 6pm today while she is away at Disneyworld (see the actual post here).

*The wedged sandals and tee were provided to me in exchange to review the service of Brandzaffair, but all opinions are my own and not that of Brandzaffair. Thank you for supporting the brands that support me.

Election Day & link up

November 8, 2016

election-day-red-sweater-blue-jeans

Happy Election Day! The picture above depicts almost exactly how I feel about this election. I am surprised my hair isn’t pulled out yet, but it’s here. I wasn’t going to vote at all BUT I prayed about it and while I don’t care for any of the candidates I am at least going to put my own biases aside for a bit and vote what I think will impact our children for the future.

It’s officially fall and I am more than excited! Looking at these photos I am in awe at the beauty of the sunset, leaves falling to the ground and the fresh smells of fall. Fall is officially my favorite season and has been since childhood. I found my olive colored jacket in our basement and brought it back up singing the hallelujah chorus that it can finally can come out. Today I am styling the olive jacket in a collaboration with Shelbee of Shelbee on the Edge.

Happy Tuesday! Todays link up and post is a treat as I am joining my longtime blogging buddy Becky for a styling collaboration.
