$10 Budget at Target for August & Link up

August 15, 2016

$10Target (1)

Today I have joined my good friend Becky and a few other bloggers for a blog hop where we buy “fun” or “splurge” items at Target with a budget of $10 for the month of July. This does not include Starbucks, groceries but rather items we consider fun or perhaps had on our wishlists.

Before I show you what I purchased I must convey that I did not save the receipts or take photos of the receipts so you will just have to trust me that the products are the price that they are. I love Target that much so I didn’t buy these items all together.

This haul is a bit different as this month my hubby and I allowed our kids to pick out a goody for $1 each and a meal.

Ready to see what I bought?

Each of my kids picked out a Lunchable (since we never buy these). Each Lunchable was $1.

lunchables-cart-Target We saw the movie”Finding Dory” in theaters recently and liked it, so of course Elizabeth went with the “Finding Dory” bubbles from the $1 spot.

Nevaeh was going to get a dry erase board from the dollar bin but decided against the board when she saw this candy in a spray bottle for $1.

Max was going to get “Finding Dory” bubbles as well but decided to get Goldfish crackers instead:

max-goldfishXander got a Butterfinger bar for $1 but I didn’t get a shot of it.

For myself (well for the family to be fair) I got my favorite Pop Tarts ever for $2.50.

So my total was over $10.50, with the red card and with tax. Overall a great haul.

What will you spend $10 on at Target?

Now below the other hosts and myself are doing a $10 at Target link up for your budgeted Target posts.

Haha! Cute how you let everyone in the family pick out something. I have never tried the Cookies and Cream pop tarts, but the S’mores ones are my favorite! I need to join you all on this fun link up sometime. Maybe this fall!

I have so much respect for how you’re teaching your children the value of not just money, Rachel, but of $1. I wish I had done that with mine 🙂

Good finds! I love pop tarts but rarely buy them. Those sound great!

It’s amazing how much you can do with $10 at Target. I wish I could pull of the same while shopping for clothes…haha!
