8 of my worst outfits from 2015

January 4, 2016

Last year as the year ended I shared a post of my bust outfits of 2014 and it was such a hit that I thought I would share with you my 8 worst outfit posts from 2015. I say they are worst or awful for several reasons so read on below to find out why. Tomorrow I will feature 8 of my favorite outfits from 2015 along with the five featured bloggers from the last “Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me” link up.

Here we go, the 8 worst outfits of 2015.

Guilt– not my favorite purse (I actually used it this one day and I think turned it around and sold it to a consignment shop) and the outfit was too thrown together.

How I Style It: Fall Colors– I just wasn’t a fan of this combo. I think the layering was way too much. I did like the tights and boot combo though.

Chocolate Stains and HUGE Spider– While I LOVE the humor and story in this post and the chambray and white combination I just wasn’t feeling the edgy jewelry as much and though I love my Michael Kors purses, this one was way out of place.

Lucked Out– Was not a fan of this top, it was a gift and thrifted (only wore this once) and while it was a Michael Michael Kors it had some missing stones at the top that I was actually covering up with the scarf.

Head to Toe White- Trying to hard on the monochromatic whites and looking like a ghost while add it.

Target Wear with Brandzaffair-Part 1- I wasn’t a fan of the wedged sandals or necklace with this look. I was overdressing casual wear.

What am I Doing Wrong?-  I took these photos with my own camera, using a self timer in nasty weather and while I thought the outfit would look ok it turned out to look frumpy. On top of that I think I needed to loose some of the bracelets and have a statement necklace instead. I wore this outfit hosting a Scentsy party.

How I Style It: Basic Tees- I think I could have lost the hat on this one.

There you have it, my 8 worst outfit looks for the year. I am not showing these to be hard on myself, but a lot of these outfits were missing something or had something I wasn’t otherwise thrilled with. I also had a few more outfits I didn’t particularly like but you get the jist. I hope you enjoyed this post today, remember to come back tomorrow for a “8 Most Favorite Outfits from 2015” and link up with featured five bloggers from last link up.

Which was your worst outfit of the year? Describe it in the comments below and why it was your worst?

What a fun post. I’m not sure what my worst outfit is… probably some time I was trying to squeeze into something ill-fitting.

Cute idea for a post, Rachel!! But I think you’re being way too hard on yourself. Some of these aren’t bad! I like the one with the fuchsia cardigan. I admit, I scratch looks too! If I’m not feeling it, I don’t even post it. The downfalls of being a perfectionist!!

You are so funny, but I don’t think these are all that bad:) Probably just being too critical of yourself!

Great post ! but those outfits doesn’t look like worst in you!

Happy New Year Rachel! Hope you and your family enjoyed a great one at home.

We are all so critical of ourselves. I do not think any of these are particularly bad. I actually think white jeans with a chambray and a pair of flats (no stains though) is always a crisp and fresh look. And I loved that head to toe monochrome look, that was from our collaboration Spring post if I am not mistaken.
