$10 Target Budget for September & Link up

September 19, 2016

$10Target (1)

Today I have joined my good friend Becky and a few other bloggers for a blog hop where we buy “fun” or “splurge” items at Target with a budget of $10 for the month of September. This does not include Starbucks, groceries but rather items we consider fun or perhaps had on our wishlists.

Before I show you what I purchased I must convey that I did not save the receipts or take photos of the receipts so you will just have to trust me that the products are the price that they are. I love Target that much so I didn’t buy these items all together.

The haul this month included two different trips and I will admit I did go overboard the budget spending over ten dollars.

Ready to see what I bought?

For my first trip to Target I had all the kids with me and we got The Goonies on dvd for $4. It was marked down a dollar so I figured why not. We ended up making that night a family movie with popcorn and candy kind of a night and my kids LOVED the movie.

This past Friday my husband and our sons went camping as part of a father and son retreat through church so I had a few days with just the girls. I took them to get their nails done and then when we hit up Target we got a few things.

Elizabeth and Nevaeh both choose these candy bags that were in the $1 spot as part of “girls night” shopping.

I had a “mini” in home LipSense lipstick  “lip and sip party” with one of my best friends and my girls and realized I had no  make up wipes. Because of this I picked up my trusted Neutrogena make up cleansing wipes for $4.99.

*(Want to party, sip your own drink in your PJ’s and learn about some LipSense the kiss proof, smudge proof up to 18 hour last lipstick? One of my friends is hosting a Facebook party for me shortly and we would love to have you join. Let me know if you would like to be included in the comments below or host a Facebook party of your own).

So my total was about $11 but I didn’t want to leave one of my girls out of getting something on girls night out.  Overall a great haul.

What will you spend $10 on at Target?

Now below the other hosts and myself are doing a $10 at Target link up for your budgeted Target posts.

I always try to have a bag of makeup wipes on hand at home, although I only use them on nights I am lazy! I am sure they are needed for that LipSense lipstick, though! A girls night sounds fun! The Goonies movie is great for a movie night, we’ve watched it as a family in the past.
