$10 Budget at Target and what I bought

December 21, 2015

Today I have joined my good friend Becky and a few other bloggers for a blog hop where we buy “fun” or “splurge” items at Target with a budget of $10 for the month of December (see my November $10 Budget at Target post here). This does not include Starbucks, groceries needed or meals but rather items we consider fun or perhaps had on our wishlists.

Before I show you what I purchased I must convey a few things. First of all, everything I bought here I actually needed (but in a fun, cheap way).  Secondly I did not save the receipts or take photos of the receipts so you will just have to trust me that the products are the price that they are. Finally I accumulated these goods over a period of three trips- I love Target that much so I didn’t buy these items all together.

Ready to see what I bought?

Our dog Frank has been a part of our family since July and we haven’t bought him any “dog clothes” so when I saw that Target had dog vests for $3 in their Target Dollar Spots I grabbed this one. This vest comes in green, red, pink, and blue so I choose this navy blue one. I thought Frank looked great in it, unfortunately one of the buttons came off the top (I got what I paid for), but it was very cute on Frank.

In my last Budget post I got $1 pencils but didn’t see $1 pens at that time Theseso I snatched these when I saw them.

These socks are just the cutest and were $1 in the dollar bin. My sister Annalise got the same pair and I tried to convince her to do a twinsie photo with me. She didn’t like that idea too much haha! I will wear these in my next outfit post (coming in a few hours).

This pen is supposed to be paint like, so I wondered if it would work on mugs. I have yet to try it. But it was $1.

We have Christmas thank you cards to send so these were $1 and fit right along with my other stationary gold colors.

We also got Frank a dog toy that averaged about $3 so I spent right at $10 maybe over with tax but I tried to stay within the budget and came out with the great items.

What would you spend $10 on at Target?

I love that you got so many stationary items! Fun! I have been trying to buy more stationary items and to be better about sending out little cards and TY notes. That dog coat is too cute, hopefully you can sew the button back on!

If only I could limit myself to $10 on every Target trip! They do have amazing stationary items that would blow my whole budget!
