Today I have joined my good friend Becky and a few other bloggers for a blog hop where we buy “fun” or “splurge” items at Target with a budget of $10 for the month. This does not include Starbucks, groceries needed or meals but rather items we consider fun or perhaps had on our wishlists.
Before I show you what I purchased I must convey a few things. First of all, everything I bought here I actually needed (but in a fun, cheap way). Secondly I did not save the receipts or take photos of the receipts so you will just have to trust me that the products are the price that they are. I love Target that much so I didn’t buy these items all together.
Ready to see what I bought?
I had been wanting a white mug with gold designs on it for awhile and then this lovely mug happened to be in the $3 bin along with another one. I debated on getting the last two bought just got this one instead and I use it DAILY for my coffee.
This seems like a silly thing to get for $2 but our rubber spatulas disappear often (due to allowing my toddlers to use real pots and pans and whisks with their little kitchen) so I was in need of one.
I really wanted to get my Elizabeth some Spring/Summer shoes and I found the ones she is wearing in this photo on clearance for $5 and knew I had to get them for her. They are flip flops with a back strap and a floral petal on the tip and she loves them. You can read the post she is wearing them in here.
I spent right at $10 (not including tax) for all of these items. Next time I go to Target I will definitely invest in these cute Boston Terrier (BT) Salt & Pepper shakers, because I am obssessed with our own BT Frank. Aren’t they cute?!? and only $2.99 each.
What will you spend $10 on at Target?
Now below the other hosts and myself are doing a $10 at Target link up for your budgeted Target posts.
Now for the $10 budget at Target link up, please only link up posts on how you budgetted for Target with $10. Thanks and have fun seeing what everyone spent.
