$10 Budget at Target for October & link up

Today I have joined my good friend Becky and a few other bloggers for a blog hop where we buy “fun” or “splurge” items at Target with a budget of $10 for the month of October. This does not include Starbucks, groceries but rather items we consider fun or perhaps had on our wishlists.

Before I show you what I purchased I must convey that I did not save the receipts or take photos of the receipts so you will just have to trust me that the products are the price that they are.

To be honest this month has been very busy and stressful. We have had sickness going around and then the death of my grandmother so this month’s haul includes items we actually needed versus just fun items as I haven’t had much time to look for just “fun” things (well minus 1 I guess, but see below).

Ready to see what I bought?

I am a HUGE Fructis Garnier fan and have really been annoyed with my hair lately as it’s been too frizzy and dry. ย I thought I would try this Curl Nourish Conditioner and Triple Nutrition shampoo to help a bit. I’ve heard it’s good to change up your shampoo and conditioners here and there. Anyone else heard that? I spent $2.99 on each.

This may seem like a silly thing to put in this haul but we were totally out of toilet paper the moment I walked out the door to go to Target so it worked out that I was going there and looked around and saw that this was on clearance even if by .50 cents haha! I got this for $2.54.

I have a bad habit of loosing eyeliners, even the ones I pay a pretty penny for…so I guess cheap ones it is. This was 0.94 and looks great on me.

So far my total was $9.89 with cash and RED card combined, so under $10 even for a random haul of family/personal needs.

What will you spend $10 on at Target?

Now below the other hosts and myself are doing a $10 at Target link up for your budgeted Target posts.

My problem is that I usually only anticipate spending $10 at Target and tend to go over lol! Great picks, I love Garnier!!!

I really want to do this sometime with y’all and I always keep forgetting about it. I have been trying to avoid Target and I pick up the little things we need (TP, detergent, etc.) with my groceries and I feel like I save a lot my just not going in Target! LOL! That’s bad… I had to laugh at the TP and I have curly hair, too and should check those out!! I do buy that brand from time to time, just haven’t seen the Curly Nourish one.

I have heard that changing out your shampoo and conditioner every once in a while works. I use Clear Scalp and Hair Total Care and TreSEMME Beauty-Full Volume. They both work super well! Great deal on the eyeliner!

Hey, I don’t think it’s bad that you got some necessities! I’ve heard that it’s good to change up your shampoo and conditioner as well, but I always forget to do it. I feel like I find something I like and works well on my hair and I stick to it. It’s really time I change it up a little!

I would totally buy clearance tp. A penny saved is a penny earned right? I have never heard of the changing up your shampoo… perhaps I should try.

Great finds! Although it stinks that you couldn’t get more fun things this week, at least you were able to get those necessities for cheap prices! Thanks for sharing at the Grace + Lace Linkup!
